- Make sure you're getting a good scrub out of the microfiber towel when you clean your windshield. Don't just wipe the cleaner off!
- It may be easier to stand on one side of your car, cleaning the half of the windshield closest to you first. Then move on to the other half.
- Wash your car first and your windows last.
How to solve windshield wipers streaking ?
Windscreen wipers streaks often occur due to windshield wipers working on rainy days. They can limit your visibility and make driving dangerous; yet, car wiper blades' removal is easy. With some elbow grease and the right equipment your windshield will be as good as new in no time!
Wash your windshield.
First, mist a thin layer of the cleaner onto the windshield. If you can’t reach your entire windshield at once just clean half of it at a time. Using a new, clean microfiber towel, wipe the windshield clean in a horizontal back and forth motion. Gently lift the windshield wipers out from the car to clean the glass underneath them.
If you’re using ammonia to clean your windows, pour a small amount of ammonia on the microfiber cloth before wiping the windshield. Remember to wear gloves when handling ammonia.
If you don’t have microfiber cloths, newspaper can be used instead.
