Why is my wiper blade streaking?

  1. Make sure you're getting a good scrub out of the microfiber towel when you clean your windshield. Don't just wipe the cleaner off!
  2. It may be easier to stand on one side of your car, cleaning the half of the windshield closest to you first. Then move on to the other half.
  3. Wash your car first and your windows last.

How to solve windshield wipers streaking ?

Windscreen wipers streaks often occur due to windshield wipers working on rainy days. They can limit your visibility and make driving dangerous; yet, car wiper blades' removal is easy. With some elbow grease and the right equipment your windshield will be as good as new in no time!

Wash your windshield.

First, mist a thin layer of the cleaner onto the windshield. If you can’t reach your entire windshield at once just clean half of it at a time. Using a new, clean microfiber towel, wipe the windshield clean in a horizontal back and forth motion. Gently lift the windshield wipers out from the car to clean the glass underneath them.

If you’re using ammonia to clean your windows, pour a small amount of ammonia on the microfiber cloth before wiping the windshield. Remember to wear gloves when handling ammonia.
If you don’t have microfiber cloths, newspaper can be used instead.
